guest artists Thea Thompson & Susie Koren

Susie Koren - Sussex based textile artist’s tactile paintings draw inspiration from the muted palettes of northern coastal landscapes, their geology, shifting light, the blurred horizontal lines as the sea merges with the vastness of the sky. Her practice combines stitch, painting, and printmaking, layering colour and texture to create the narrative of place.  Working with earth pigments bound in a biodegradable soya-milk medium she developed, her materials are rooted in the landscape itself.

Laurence Moracchini - is a passionate artisan in wood, breathing new life into reclaimed and sustainably sourced materials. She embraces the beauty of imperfection and works with eco-friendly finishes and fire

Thea Thompson - Brighton based, I am a passionate maker who enjoys creating objects from clay. I primarily hand build my pieces and love to experiment with decoration techniques, slips and glazes. Inspired by the landscapes of the places I visit, my handbuilt vessels reflect rugged geology;
