The two day workshop aims to inspire an observational sketchbook practice sharing innovative and intuitive ways to visually document resources.
Connecting to land, walking, gathering, observing is fundamental to immerse yourself in place, slowing down to notice and experience the repetitive rhythms of nature.

2 day workshop: 9.30-5pm
15-16 August / 20-21 August
The workshop is held at my studio on Ashdown Forest, a quiet nurturing space suitable for two students. Combining outdoor exploration with studio practice we will spending time walking, observing gathering resources from the land including the amazing red iron oxide soil and “fairlight clay” that make wonderful pigments to work with on paper and cloth.
